By car from M25

Exit Junction 8, taking the A217 towards Reigate. After 400 metres fork left onto Gatton Bottom (signposted Merstham). After one mile turn right onto Rocky Lane. The entrance is on the right after a further 400 metres and is signposted Royal Alexandra and Albert School.

Rail

Redhill is the closest station with frequent services from London, Gatwick and Reading. You can then take a taxi directly to Gatton Park from the station.

There is a taxi rank outside Redhill station, or see below for local taxi numbers. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes.

Bus

Gatton Park is not easily accessible by bus as there is no bus route incorporating Rocky Lane. Buses run from Redhill town centre to Gatton Park Road at the edge of the estate. You can then walk up through the park (on designated Open Days only).

There are limited coach parking facilities at Gatton Park. All coaches must be pre-booked.

Walking trails

The Gatton estate is located along the North Downs Way, a National Trail of 153 miles. Much of the trail follows the historic Pilgrims’ Way, running through Surrey until it reaches the Kent border, where it continues to Canterbury.
