Discover one of Surrey's hidden treasures

A beautiful historic parkland designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown with Edwardian gardens in Reigate, Surrey.

Due to the National Lockdown, we have suspended our activities for families. Thank you for all of your support throughout this challenging time.

If you are local to Gatton Park, our next open days are in February, when our snowdrops will be on display in the Rock Garden. We are open every Sunday in February. Please book your arrival time in advance. Please note – this is only for local people to take exercise, in line with government advice.

An exciting green energy project taking place at Gatton will allow the energy for the school’s heating systems to be sourced from the ground and lakes of the park. There is some disruption to the site, as a result of the works taking place.

When you next visit the park, take a stroll to the Japanese Garden to see the changes that have recently been made. New steps and a handrail have been installed to make it easier to visit the teahouse. Thank you to our volunteers and staff for their hard work. This project has been made possible by an award from Postcode Local Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
