Birthday Parties in the Park

Specially designed parties for up to 15 children at weekends or during school holidays. On Saturdays we have a range of themed indoor and outdoor activities exploring our beautiful parkland. On Saturdays and Sundays we offer dance-themed parties run by dance and drama teacher Tanya Greenwood. These can be tailored to suit your child’s interests and make it a birthday they will never forget. Our parties are suitable for children between 3-7 years old.

We provide a themed email invitation to send to your guests. See below for our selection of party themes. All activities are led by Gatton Park Education staff. We ask that at least four adults attend to help the children with their activities. Afterwards, you can use our classroom for your birthday tea.

For children aged four years or younger we recommend one hour of activities. For children aged five years plus we recommend one hour 45 minutes of activities. Birthday tea 45 minutes. The price of a party at Gatton Park for up to 15 children is £200.

Fairies and Wizards

Discover a magical world of fairies and wizards hidden in the gardens. Create your very own fairy tiara or wizard hat. Search the dark woods and make magical potions. Collect natural items to make magical gardens.

Dance Parties

Drama and dance teacher Tanya Greenwood has more than twenty years of experience bringing joy, laughter and magic to children's parties! You choose the theme - princess, superhero, pop star and so on - we'll do the rest. Whether through ballet or street dance, your child is guaranteed a birthday party to remember.

Teddy Bear's Picnic

Bring your own teddy to meet ours who are hiding in the woods and play teddy bear games. Make teddy bear gardens using natural materials and a teddy bear headband to take home.

Bugs, Beetles and Butterflies

Make your own bug dial before heading off to the deep woods for a fun bug hunt. Make your own craft bug to take home.

Pirate Challenge

Create your own pirate hat and go outside to search for pirates and to take part in fun team games. Make pirate islands using natural materials.

Hidden Depths

Make your own dragonfly and search Gatton's ponds to discover what lives beneath the surface.

Arty Party

Collect natural materials in the park to use in your art creations. Enjoy using different skills to create your own 3D magic woodland model to take home.

Dinosaurs

Listen to a dinosaur story and make your own paper plate dinosaur. Carry out an exciting search for signs of dinosaurs in the park. Make a dinosaur habitat and a dinosaur headband to take home.

Unicorn Party

Hunt for clues to find unicorns in our magical park. Make a place for them to live and enjoy other unicorn-related tasks.

The Gruffalo

Listen to a Gruffalo story and make your own finger puppet mouse to take on an exciting walk through the dark woods. Play a fun game to find the different parts of the Gruffalo and then make Gruffalo Crumble. Create a Gruffalo mask to take home
