Little Seeds Forest School

Little Seeds Forest School

Come and join us at Gatton Park in the beautiful North Downs of Surrey for Little Seeds Forest School. Sessions are set in our beautiful Cedar Woods and include plenty of mud, fire, dens, woodland crafts and most importantly a lot of fun!

The children are given the space to grow and develop and to lead and personalise their own learning. The Forest School philosophy makes for fantastic outdoor learning, developing a child’s curiosity in nature, guiding them to take risks safely and giving them the confidence to be intrepid explorers.

Forest schools were developed in Scandinavia using the best classroom of them all – the great outdoors! Research shows forest school brings a multitude of benefits to a child, including increased social interaction and independence.

Sessions involve a range of activities with a focus on explorative outdoor free play and child-led learning. Activities are varied, from bug hunting to den building, from making tree spirits to sawing wood.
